About

APANO’s community center, which we call Orchards of 82nd (O82), is not only a center for organizing and cultural expression but also a resource for economic development and affordable housing. O82 has become a critical asset for a historically underserved neighborhood by fostering community resilience.

The Free Food Market has been an essential service held at our community space held every Friday afternoons. In collaboration with Urban Gleaners, a local non-profit that collects fresh produce and food from businesses before they go to waste, APANO serves between 30-40 Jade District community members and other Portland residents each week with healthy food options from our Free Food Market, for around 1,500  total instances of service within the last year.

Your volunteer time would be essential in helping our team provide free and fresh produce to our Jade District neighbors!
